Leadership Academy 2017 - Module 3, Vrnjachka Banja, Serbia



Between August 14th and 17th, 2017 20 selected representatives from the municipalities of Serbia and representatives from the municipalities and non-governmental organizations from Macedonia participated on the MODULE III workshop of the project ''Leadership Academy 2017'', financially supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation and organized by the National Association of Municipal Clerks of Bulgaria (NAMCB) and the international foundation Balkan Net. The project program has been developed and adjusted with active support by the Council of Europe. 

The event was opened by Mr. Lutz Kober, head of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Mrs Jelena Djurovic, representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Serbia Mr. Valentin Lazarov, president of the National Association of Municipal Clerks in Bulgaria and Mr. Jean Stanoevski, president of the foundation Balkan Net. Mr. Lazarov and Mr. Stanoevski also acted as trainers during the event and during the workshop activities they actively applied the method of experiential learning cycle as a model for the execution of the trainig. 

During the three-day interactive workshop the following program topics have been presented: 

- Strategic thinking and acting,

- 5 P's of strategy according to Mintzberg,

- Making decisions,

- Decision making styles,

- New approaches in leadership,

- Stress management,

- Mind mapping as a tool in modern project management,

- Essentials of conflict management,

- Strategic thinking,

- Time frame and Gantt chart,

- Creation of activity and project management plans,

- Human resources management.
